African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML)
African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML), established by African Industries Group, operates a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna state—the first of its kind in Nigeria. The plant, equipped with advanced technology, processes magnetite iron ore sourced from its mines. It also has a captive power plant based on environmentally friendly waste heat recovery technology catering to its in-house power needs. ANRML holds Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) certifications, adhering to international standards and IFC/World Bank guidelines. The overall project aims to boost socio-economic development, generating jobs and contributing to the nation's growth. The Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) produced will replace ferrous scrap in steel production, enhancing efficiency and positioning Nigeria as a significant global crude steel producer.
